When everything collapses, light does not disappear — it retreats into silence.

In Marknsol’s works, red threads cut through the darkness like the nervous systems of memory, binding what remains after ruin.

The burnt surface becomes a skin of time; its cracks speak a language beyond restoration.

The artist’s gestures are not acts of rebuilding but of listening to what remains — to the trembling echo between disappearance and survival.

Within that fragile interval, light no longer serves to reveal but to remember.

그것은 단지 침묵 속으로 물러난다.

마크앤솔의 작품 속에서 붉은 실은 어둠을 가르는 신경처럼,

기억의 잔여를 꿰매며 붕괴 이후에 남은 것들을 묶는다.

불에 그을린 표면은 시간의 피부가 되어, 복원이 불가능한 균열 속에서 말을 건다.

작가의 행위는 복원의 몸짓이 아니라,

사라진 것의 잔향에 귀 기울이는 행위다.

그 미세한 간극 속에서 빛은 더 이상 드러내기 위해 존재하지 않는다 —
