 I paint with the remnants of time — the frozen matter of memory.

Each layer of pigment is a fossil of light, a residue of existence that refuses to vanish completely.

The cracks, the threads, and the dense surfaces in my paintings are not only physical marks but traces of what once lived. They speak of the slow violence of preservation, of the ethical weight in holding on to what must eventually melt.

In the ruins of postmodern relativism, NeoNeoPostmodernism seeks a return to sincerity — not as nostalgia, but as resistance. It is a call to rebuild meaning from fragments, to find faith within collapse.

The ice, to me, is both an archive and a wound: it preserves what the fire destroys, and yet, in its inevitable melting, it reveals the temporality of every ideology.

The Ice Civilization is an imagined epoch where disappearance becomes form.

When the frozen pigment begins to thaw, it releases histories — personal, collective, and mythic. This act of melting is not decay but transformation. It is a quiet rebellion against the permanence of institutions, a gesture of humility before time.

Light remains after collapse.

Even when the structure is gone, what persists is the memory of its luminosity — fragile, flickering, but alive.

나는 시간의 잔해로 그린다.

얼어붙은 색의 층은 빛의 화석이며, 완전히 사라지지 않는 존재의 잔류물이다.

균열, 실, 그리고 거친 표면들은 단순한 물질의 흔적이 아니라, 한때 살아 있었던 기억의 증거다. 그것들은 ‘보존’이라는 느린 폭력, 그리고 언젠가는 녹아내릴 것을 붙잡고자 하는 윤리적 긴장을 말한다.

포스트모던의 상대주의가 무너진 폐허 속에서,

네오네오포스트모던니즘(NeoNeoPostmodernism) 은 진정성의 복귀를 모색한다.

그것은 과거로의 회귀가 아니라, 무너진 조각들로부터 다시 의미를 세우려는 저항이다.

얼음은 나에게 아카이브이자 상처다. 불이 파괴한 것을 얼음은 보존하고, 그 녹음(溶化)은 모든 이념의 유한성을 드러낸다.

얼음 문명(Ice Civilization) 은 ‘소멸이 형태가 되는 시대’이다.

얼어붙은 색이 서서히 녹아내릴 때, 그것은 개인적이고 신화적인 역사들을 방출한다.

이 녹는 행위는 부패가 아니라 변형이며,

영원함을 꿈꾸는 제도들에 대한 조용한 반항이다.

시간 앞에서의 겸손한 몸짓이다.

붕괴 이후에도 빛은 남는다.

형태가 사라진 자리에서 여전히 남는 것은 그 빛의 기억이다 —

연약하지만, 반짝이며, 살아 있는.
